FAQs
How does the process work?
When you come to Forest City Pharma with a minor ailment, our pharmacists will:
- We’ll start by asking you about your symptoms, health history, and any other relevant details. This helps us understand your condition and determine the best course of action.
- Using their training and expertise, our pharmacists will assess whether the condition can be treated as a minor ailment or if further medical attention is required.
- If appropriate, our pharmacists will prescribe a treatment, which may include over-the-counter medication, topical creams, or other remedies tailored to your needs.
- We will give you detailed instructions on how to use the medication and offer tips on managing your condition. If your symptoms persist or worsen, we may recommend seeing a doctor.
When should I see a doctor?
While pharmacists are able to treat many minor ailments, there are certain conditions that require a doctor’s care. If you experience any of the following symptoms, it’s important to seek medical attention right away:
- Fever lasting more than 3 days or over 39°C (102°F)
- Severe pain or swelling
- Difficulty breathing or chest pain
- Significant changes in vision
- Symptoms that worsen or don’t improve after a few days of treatment
- Any unusual or severe reaction to medication
If you're unsure whether your condition requires a doctor's attention, don't hesitate to consult one of our pharmacists. We are here to guide you in making the right decision.
What happens if my symptoms don't improve after treatment?
If your symptoms don't improve, our pharmacists will assess your condition and may refer you to a doctor for further evaluation.
